For science week we designed, made and tested jellies. We know that jelly sets over time but we began with a tally of our favourite fruit. We then tried different methods for preparing the jelly including adding different fruits to investigate and find out if this impacts the time it takes for jelly to set. We ensured we wrote a list of the equipment we needed, as well as discussing the safety measures we would need to take part in this experiment. We found the banana jelly was the firmest, followed by the apple jelly and the orange jelly did not set. Do you know why?
