Year 2 Reading Workshop.

Thank you to all the parents who attended our Year 2 workshop. In Year 2, we held a reading workshop for parents, offering valuable insights into the importance of reading. Our session included looking at the strategies we use in school to promote and develop reading. This allowed parents to experience reading being taught and included the reading of common exception words, compound words and decoding longer words. Pupils then worked with their parents to complete activities relating to the book.
