World Cup Week 2026:

For the World Cup 2026, each Year group was given a different country to represent. The children then completed World Cup themed lessons throughout the week. Take a look at some of Year 4's work.

  • RE - The children looked at how footballers use Christian Values during a World Cup match.
  • RSHE - The children looked at how footballers stay healthy (their diet, sleep patterns and exercise).
  • Science - The children completed a football investigation whereby they tried to discover which surface was the best to use for a World Cup match. The children used the hall floor, the classroom carpet and the astro turf.
  • Art - The children designed their own football mascots for their country (Germany).
  • Geography - The children researched information about their country (Germany) and created a fact file.
  • MFL - Due to their country being Germany, the children learnt basic German phrases and greetings.

Enterprise Week 2026:

For Enterprise Week, the children in Year 4 designed pencil cases, character stones and notebooks. The children had a £20 budget as a year group and worked together to sell their items to make a profit.
